Ambassador
Caprece Jackson
Is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology and Ohio University, is a fashion programming specialist/marketing strategist with a career spanning over 45 years.
​
In the 1980s, Caprece worked as a Paris-based journalist covering European fashion collections, and contributed to the launch of ELLE magazine's U.S. edition. She served as press secretary for the Baltimore City Council in the early 2000's.
Caprece, a pillar of the Baltimore Fashion community has curated dynamic programming, including fashion shows, installations, workshops, and performance art, providing local designers, models, stylists, photographers, and makeup artists with career-launching opportunities since 2010.
Her notable platform iniatives include the Fashion Block Marketplace at Artscape (2012-19); Project Artscape (2023-24), Fashion Comes To Light, (2016-2018) and Wear It Out Baltimore (2012-16). She is also the first Brand Ambassador for Sustainable Fashion Week US (2019-present) and served as the inaugural Fashion Programming Coordinator for BOPA (2023-24).
